Digital & Library Services are looking for a strong and enthusiastic candidate to join our team as IT Support Specialist, responsible for supporting IT queries and providing technical support to our students and staff. This is an exciting and challenging role for a skilled IT professional, with many opportunities for enhancing existing IT skills and contributing to University’s Digital & Library Service systems infrastructure. 

You will be responsible for providing high quality IT Support Services to students and staff in a rich and diverse academic environment. The ability to efficiently manage your time and workload, escalating requests as needed is essential. The role requires you to establish and maintain positive relationships with your customers, seeking to fully understand their requirements and providing solutions and documentation as required. 

We are looking for a confident and professional individual with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of providing customer care, IT support and guidance to a wide variety of students and staff with a varying level of IT skills. You will be a collaborative team player with the ability to work under your own initiative. Strong technical skills and a willingness to learn, preferably with proven experience of working within an ITIL service management support environment is required.
