Exciting Opportunity: Join Our New Data Engineering Team Following a recent restructure, we have established a Data Engineering Team within our Digital & Library Services to modernise how the University connects, manages and uses data across its digital estate. This team is central to our digital transformation ambitions and will shape the future of our integration and data capabilities.
We are now looking to recruit two foundational Data Integration Engineers to build on the transformation already underway in partnership with our Microsoft partner. Working closely with our Application Development Team, you will design and deliver secure, scalable integrations using modern cloud based technologies.
Your work will ensure our systems communicate reliably and securely, our data flows efficiently and our digital services evolve to meet the needs of our global user community of students, applicants and staff. Key Responsibilities - Azure Integration - Build and manage integrations using Microsoft Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps and related Azure integration services. - API & Middleware Development - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integration components connecting enterprise systems.
Essential Skills and experience - Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Functions and cloud integration services (or similar) - Experience integrating cloud and on-prem applications using secure, scalable and resilient integration services & patterns. - Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, source control, release management and deployment automation.
