Join a crucial team dedicated to supporting our international student community.
As a Student Visa Compliance Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining the University's UKVI sponsor licence, ensuring we remain a trusted sponsor for students from around the world. Your work will be central to two vital processes: the accurate issuance of Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) and the diligent monitoring of student attendance and engagement. Your attention to detail will directly safeguard our compliance and the student experience.
Key Responsibilities: •Assist with the accurate and timely processing of CAS requests and issuance. •Support the monitoring of sponsored students' attendance and engagement in line with UKVI regulations. •Help maintain meticulous and up-to-date student records. •Contribute to the analysis of key compliance metrics, including visa refusal, enrolment, and attendance rates. •Provide responsive administrative support to the Visa Compliance team.
About you: You are a highly organised individual with a strong focus on accuracy and an understanding of the importance of regulatory compliance. You are a proactive team player with excellent administrative skills and the ability to handle sensitive data confidentially. Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within an educational or compliance setting, is desirable.
