Job Description
Are you a web editor with experience of maintaining large websites?
Middlesex University is looking for three web editors to work in the Web Team. As well as dealing with the day-to-day issues arising with the University’s corporate website, our editors will play a key role in developing the future web-based capabilities.
A large part of the role entails responding to and triaging email requests for web changes in a timely and accurate manner. You’ll be using Google Analytics to get insights and help set up new data manipulation filters for reports. You’ll also assist the SEO specialist to monitor search engine rankings and suggest improvements. You’ll enjoy working in a team and collaborating with others in the University, and when necessary, you will assist in user testing and accessibility exercises to guarantee that the website provides the best possible experience for our users.
We are seeking people who have experience of working regularly with a CMS to create eye-catching content, writing accurate and engaging website copy and using tools like Photoshop to integrate imagery in a way that conforms to current guidelines. You need to be well-versed in the latest digital trends, mobile systems and responsive platforms, and be willing to investigate and adapt to new technologies. Apply now to join us at this exciting time in our digital development.
