Middlesex University is looking for a proactive Student Recruitment and Marketing Assistant to support our UK student recruitment, marketing, content and admissions teams. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, collaborative and confident managing a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role, enjoys working with people, and wants to make a real impact in a busy and ambitious department.
As a key member of the team, you’ll play a vital part in supporting our UK student recruitment, marketing, content and admissions activities. You’ll help ensure the smooth running of the department through high-quality administrative, logistical and operational support. You’ll be involved in everything from liaising with suppliers to supporting budget processes and assisting with the delivery of key recruitment activities.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys multitasking, communicating with a wide range of colleagues, and bringing structure and efficiency to fast-paced operations. Operational Support - Organising logistics for recruitment, marketing and admissions activities - Coordinating relationships with internal teams and external suppliers - Supporting data collection, feedback, and presentation preparation - Working collaboratively across the department to support projects and campaigns - Supporting the organisation of student ambassadors and peer to peer platforms (e.g. Unibuddy and The Student Room) Administrative Support - Managing budgets: processing orders, expenses and maintaining records - Producing budget updates and working with Finance colleagues - Supporting HR processes including staff recruitment and onboarding - Coordinating and inputting leads into Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems - Providing diary management, meeting organisation and minute-taking - Offering administrative support to senior leaders when required Additional Responsibilities - Supporting key recruitment events (open days, offer-holder days, Clearing) - Travelling to schools and colleges as required - Being available for occasional evening and weekend events.
