            <p>As our Student Engagement and Communications Officer, you&#39;ll play a key role in delivering engaging campaigns and communications that enhance the student experience from enrolment through to graduation.&nbsp;</p><p>Working within the Directorate of Student Life, you&#39;ll help foster a sense of belonging, improve student engagement, and support the University&#39;s strategic objectives around student satisfaction, achievement, and retention.&nbsp;</p><p>In this exciting and varied role, you will:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Lead and deliver a year-round calendar of student engagement campaigns;</li><li>Create innovative communications that are accessible, inclusive, and student-centred;</li><li>Build campaigns that strengthen connections between students, staff, and alumni;</li><li>Develop engaging content and support the continued enhancement of MyMDX;</li><li>Work collaboratively with Faculties and Professional Services to ensure consistent, high-quality student communications;</li><li>Manage engagement materials, budgets, suppliers, and campaign resources;</li><li>Supervise and support Campus Life Ambassadors in delivering events and campaigns;</li><li>Contribute to major University events, including Welcome, Induction, and Graduation; and</li><li>Keep up to date with developments across the higher education sector, bringing fresh ideas and best practice into your work</li></ul><p>We&#39;re looking for someone who has:</p><ul><li>A degree or equivalent professional experience;</li><li>Proven experience delivering successful engagement campaigns and events;</li><li>An excellent understanding of student engagement, ideally within higher education;</li><li>Outstanding written communication skills and the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences;</li><li>Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities;</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills;</li><li>Great attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines;</li><li>Experience managing budgets and external suppliers; and</li><li>The confidence to lead and support a small team with minimal supervision.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>You&#39;ll stand out if you also have:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Advanced design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or similar software; and</li><li>Previous experience working within a university or higher education environment.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>At Middlesex University, we&#39;re committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and vibrant community where students can thrive.             <p>We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Student Engagement &amp; Events Assistant to support the delivery of events and initiatives that enhance the student experience at Middlesex University.&nbsp;</p><p>Working with colleagues across the University, you will help plan and deliver key events such as Welcome, Induction, and Graduation, as well as careers fairs, employer events, mentoring programmes, and other student engagement activities.&nbsp;</p><p>You will also provide administrative and logistical support, coordinate event communications, manage registrations, liaise with stakeholders, and help evaluate the success of events.&nbsp;</p><p>You will be educated to A-level standard (or equivalent), with a degree being desirable. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively both independently and as part of a team, experience using Microsoft Office and digital communication tools, including social media, a professional, customer-focused approach and strong attention to detail, a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and experience supporting events or using CRM/database systems is desirable but not essential.&nbsp;</p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a vibrant student community while developing your skills in event delivery, stakeholder engagement, and project support.
