The Department of Natural Sciences are looking for a dynamic individual to join and complement our current team supporting the delivery of our portfolio in Healthcare Sciences. The successful candidate will be an individual with an advanced background in Cardiac Physiology either as a lecturer or a practitioner who wishes to contribute to academia. 

You will be able to deliver high quality teaching, learning and academic support as well as be keen to participate in research/knowledge transfer and support outreach. You will be someone who is committed to promoting the development of the next generation of students, clinical practitioners and researchers. Candidates should have strong leadership skills in order for them to play an active role in leadership of our teaching teams. 

We are offering this post at Senior Lecturer level. Senior Lecturers are expected to enhance student experience and outcomes. Individuals should be able to deliver high quality teaching to enhance students’ learning experiences. 

Successful candidates should bring practice-based experience into innovative and authentic design of teaching and learning materials and activities. They should be committed to developing the curriculum in line with professional body requirements and have experience of leadership. Senior lecturers will be required to lead on strategies to give effective advice, guidance and feedback to students to support their academic progress.
