We are looking for an experienced and committed Research Assistant to join the UKRI GCRF Gender, Justice and Security Hub to contribute to the overall project by contributing to data collection, analysis, communications and dissemination. 

The UKRI GCRF Gender, Justice and Security Hub, led by LSE Centre for Women, Peace and Security, is a network of academic and Non-Governmental Organisational (NGO) partners in Africa, Middle East, South Asia and South America. Middlesex University is co-directing research for the stream on migration and displacement, which will be conducted in selected countries in the Middle East and South Asia.  The post involves working with the Co-Director and Co-Investigators in the UK and partners in the Middle East in undertaking analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and a range of dissemination activities as part of the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) Hub.

This Hub seeks to advance sustainable peace by developing an evidence-base around gender, justice and inclusive security in conflict-affected societies and expanding research capacity and interdisciplinary research and connecting with leading ambassadors for gender justice to translate insights into ongoing actions that improve lives.

About you

You will have previous experience in conducting and presenting research and be educated to a Masters level in Migration, development and/or gender studies or a cognate discipline. Good written and presentational skills are essential.

Experience of undertaking research funding is desirable
