The University is now seeking to appoint a Director for Learning, Teaching and Student Experience to ensure the delivery of its strategic objectives for an outstanding learning experience. The postholder will be responsible for embedding an evidence-based approach to enhancing the quality of learning and teaching and will lead on the personalisation of student learning. 

Working collaboratively with Faculties and key stakeholders across the institution, the Director will implement and evaluate signature pedagogies across the institution and co-ordinate pedagogic research. The successful candidate will lead the Centre for Practice Enhancement and line-manage the Head of Academic Practice Enhancement and the Head of Technology Enhanced Learning within the Centre.

Candidates should have experience of teaching in higher education and a track record of leading and delivering institution-wide developments designed to improve students’ learning experience and outcomes. 

The Director will report to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Learning and Innovation and be a member of the University’s senior management team.
