The Department of Mental Health and Social Work invites applications for the post of Senior Lecturer (Practice) in Mental Health Nursing. Passionate about mental health and wellbeing and integrated health and social care, the Department has a large multidisciplinary team engaged in real-world solutions applied to our teaching, research and knowledge exchange activities. We are seeking a senior lecturer to join our dynamic mental health nursing team, who has a commitment to enhancing and building on an already excellent reputation for delivering high quality, exciting and evidenced-based mental health training.  

The successful candidate must hold registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), a first degree and be qualified to master’s level in a relevant discipline. You should be able to work collaboratively and have strong programme/module management skills.Working within a department and faculty that embrace a breadth and depth of research themes and priorities, you will play an active role in leading and supporting research and knowledge transfer activities as well as taking up a teaching and leadership role in delivering our BSc and PGDip pre-qualifying courses, with additional opportunities for teaching on our extensive CPD offer.  

Candidates with strong experience in ICT skills and eLearning would be advantageous.
