The Mental Health Group within the Department of Mental Health and Social Work is seeking to appoint a Lecturer to join their successful, friendly and dynamic team. 

Applicants for mental health nursing posts should be registered nurses with the NMC. 

You will join a team with a strong tradition of delivering high quality, innovative mental health nursing programmes as well as a range of mental health postgraduate programmes. 

Successful candidates for the Lecturing post will have a proven background in mental health nursing. Working within the Department of Mental Health and Social Work the nursing post holders will be part of a team delivering our successful BSc and PGDip Mental Health Nursing pre-qualifying courses 

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate. You are therefore required to disclose details of any criminal record. ALL criminal convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings, even if they would otherwise be regarded as spent under this Act must be disclosed, as well as any other information that may have a bearing on your suitability for the post, including pending prosecutions.

The University will apply for a DBS certificate before your appointment is confirmed.
