We are seeking to recruit an experienced manager of library operations/services to be our Library & Learning Spaces Manager. The successful applicant will have;

  • Experience of managing and developing individuals, teams and services

  • Be able to build and maintain a wide range of collaborative working relationships

  • Be customer focussed with a drive to continuously improve services for our students

Middlesex University has a unique model in the sector with the Library housing the University face to face helpdesk UniHelp, which incorporates all first line library enquiries more traditionally found in a Library Circulation desk. The Library and Learning spaces team manage the study environments, with help points based on the study floors to support students where they are studying and deal with enquiries from a range of channels. The Library & Learning Spaces Manager will work closely with the Unihelp Manager and Heads of Student IT Support and Collections to ensure that an excellent student experience is at the heart of what we do.
