Middlesex University’s Counselling & Mental Health team is seeking to recruit a 0.6 FTE HCPC-registered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist/CBT Practitioner. This is a fixed-term post until 30thSeptember 2019 (in the first instance).

Based at our London campus in Hendon, Middlesex University is a vibrant and diverse learning community.

Student Support and Wellbeing Services combine a range of services to deliver holistic support for students including the Counselling and Mental Health service. The service supports students with a range of mental health diagnoses and emotional concerns through a broad range of interventions.

We are looking for a CBT Practitioner to work alongside our Counselling Psychologist and multi-disciplinary team to develop the provision of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and deliver psycho-educational workshops for students.

As a member of the wider Counselling and Mental Health team you will undertake clinical assessments, deliver short-term psychotherapeutic interventions, support students attending the drop-in service, provide clinical consultation to staff and contribute to the various training, facilitation, and group work activities that the team is engaged in around the campus.
