We are looking for a Marketing Officer who, under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager for the Faculty of Professional and Social Sciences, will contribute to the delivery of an effective annual marketing plan to support the Faculty in both student recruitment and maintaining our excellent reputation. The successful candidate will acquire and demonstrate a clear understanding of the needs of the student recruitment market and desired target audience, ensuring that all marketing activity and campaigns are informed by this knowledge, as well as being measured and reported on against targets.

The Marketing Officer will deliver effective marketing communications, working with the various teams across the Marketing Department in order to ensure the Middlesex University website drives meaningful engagement with our target audience; advertising campaigns drive interest and engagement; produce effective marketing tools to support subject-specific communications and events; work with schools and colleges to support early awareness and recruitment to the Faculty; and identify and promote academic research and expertise.

The post-holder will regularly monitor competitor activity, understand the various Faculty audiences and work with the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure subject messaging and value propositions are compelling and consistent. An important aspect of the Marketing Officer role will be to build relationships with key academic colleagues and, where necessary, act as a representative of the faculty marketing team.
