The Department & Programme Administrator (DPA) is a full-time professional role providing administrative support to the Heads of Department, Directors of Programmes, Programme Leaders and Module Leaders in the delivery of the academic programme in an identified Faculty.  

The post-holder is expected to work flexibly and provide a supportive environment for students and academics in the Faculty and Department to which they are aligned. This is an interesting and varied role in a stimulating working environment.  Duties will include board and panel preparation, minute taking, proof reading, data processing and event management. 

We are looking for a highly motivated, well organised individual who can work with minimal supervision. You must have excellent IT skills, good level of numeracy, great attention to detail, superb oral and writing skills, a commitment to teamwork and the ability to work collaboratively across different agencies and professional groups. The post-holder may be given responsibility for a key function or be asked to participate in projects that contribute to service improvements.  You will be expected to contribute to the wider DPA networking group, and team development activities enhancing our delivery to ensure we maintain the Customer First © national accreditation for customer service standards.
