Middlesex University is looking to appoint a Senior Student Visa Compliance Officer based in Academic Registry. The focus of this post is to ensure the University’s continued compliance with our UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) Student Route Visa Sponsor Licence. 

Main duties include reviewing, updating and disseminating our policies and procedures to meet our UKVI obligations; taking the lead role in managing the process of engagement monitoring activities for Student route sponsored students. and to monitor our compliance against UKVI thresholds; to support UKVI audit visits and to keep abreast of immigration law as it affects the University and its students and processing CAS applications during peak times. 

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge and experience of policies and procedures to support student immigration regulations. You will also have proven expertise in compliance or audit work. Your communication and organisational skills will be excellent, and it is essential that you are able to explain processes in a clear and engaging manner. You will also have experience of working with a student records system and an understanding of how such systems can be used to efficiently support compliance.
