A position exists, for a Research Fellow in the department of Natural Science, to design and develop advanced image analysis and image reconstruction software related to Electrical impedance Tomography.

The post is part of the EPSRC PNEUMACRIT project addressing the development of a multi-sensor wearable imaging system that will inform lung function diagnosis for infants and children with conditions that can lead to respiratory problems. 

  • We are looking for a talented researcher to join our team and help us fulfil the project’s goals, producing quality research.  The work will involve advanced image analysis and image reconstruction software. Validating the parameters derived from the images, using data from simulations and physical models to support PNEMACRIT, in addition to publishing high quality research papers.  The successful candidate will work within an established research team led by Professor Richard Bayford.

The post is available from 06 January 2020 for 3 years, in the first instance.
