Middlesex University, Department of Natural Sciences - 1 x Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Dietetics and Nutrition.

Main responsibilities: The Department of Natural Sciences is looking for a dynamic individual to join and complement our current team supporting the delivery of our portfolio of Biomedical and Public Health awards at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The appointment will also work with our team at the London Sports Institute and will be based primarily at our brand new facilities, including dedicated practical space for nutrition and dietetics, developed in partnership with Saracens Rugby Club. This is a role that would suit a practitioner/clinician wishing to join academia or someone with a more established academic background looking for a change of culture and environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for dietetics, health & well-being and be able to deliver high-quality teaching, learning & academic support as well as developing of a track record in research or practitioner engagement. You will also be someone who is committed to promoting the development of the next generation of students and practitioners. The successful candidate is expected to make a positive contribution to our academic provision through teaching, and engagement in research/practice engagement and outreach. 

The Department of Natural Sciences is recognised for its strong, high-quality and innovative teaching delivery including simulations, research and consultancy across a range of professional and academic programmes. The focus of the department is on the application of knowledge to practice and practice to student learning underpinned by evidence and research.
