            <p id="isPasted">How would you like to join a dynamic department within Greater London at our Hendon Campus?&nbsp;</p><p>We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Primary Initial Teacher Education to join our Education Department. This post provides an exciting opportunity to join a forward-looking department with a longstanding reputation for excellence. The Department offers undergraduate and postgraduate Initial Teacher Education for university-led and employment-based routes. Our primary programmes are well established and have an outstanding profile of student outcomes.&nbsp;</p><p>This post is suitable for an experienced primary teacher and/or someone who has experience in Initial Teacher Education in universities, SCITTs or similar organisations. Experience of supporting trainees in school, and awareness of current developments in the field of Initial Teacher Education are essential for the role. For this post you will have specialist expertise in mathematics.&nbsp;</p><p>You will join an enthusiastic and highly successful team and play a central role in teaching on our popular primary programmes. As well as teaching Mathematics the successful applicant will be expected to contribute to Professional Studies and School Based Training across the primary programmes.&nbsp;</p><p>This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate. You are therefore required to disclose details of any criminal record. Our new School of Computer Science and Engineering is within the Faculty of Science and Technology. This is a large and vibrant academic faculty encompassing learning, teaching, research and knowledge transfer in the fields of computer science, engineering, sport science, psychology and natural sciences.&nbsp;</p><p>The new Head of School will form part of an ambitious Senior Leadership team driven to implement and realise the emerging vision of the Department and Faculty to ensure we deliver our ambitions around the triple intensity holistic strategy. The postholder will work with other Heads of School in the Faculty, two Deputy Deans, a Faculty Manager and the Dean to provide leadership and management in shaping the future of the Faculty.&nbsp;</p><p>This is an exciting time to be joining Middlesex with a strong leadership, clarity of focus and a determination to deliver positive change across the University. The Faculty of Science and Technology is well placed with a refreshing suite of programmes, significant industry connections, strong research base and a dedicated team of staff.
